Premna is the genus of flowering plants in the mint family.It's a tropical tree often used for bonsai in Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Indonesia. Its not really bothered by a lot of pests and the glossy leaves reduce very nicely. Does very well indoors.
As you can tell by the title, we are not positive what the exact variety is, although we have ruled out Premna mycrophylla as this appears to be a deciduous variety- also known as the musk mellon.
This tree is rare in Canada.
